Over the last decade, Jackson has undergone a remarkable transformation, expanding its footprint throughout Miami-Dade County with new facilities, enhanced services, and world-class patient care – thanks to Carlos’ visionary leadership to build a team of more than 13,000 passionate healthcare professionals.
From guiding Jackson through financial challenges that threatened the health system’s survival to being a trusted voice during a global pandemic to launching a complex public vaccination program, Carlos has stood up for our community time and time again. He is one of Miami-Dade County’s ultimate healthcare heroes.
