Our Board of Directors
Jackson Health Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of community leaders, executives, business leaders, healthcare professionals, and hospital administrators who are committed to the philanthropic activities that benefit Jackson Health System. The board members assist in many aspects of the foundation’s fundraising efforts as well as increasing community awareness on behalf of the foundation and the system.

David A. Coulson, Esq.
David A. Coulson, Esq., was a devoted member of the Jackson Health Foundation family, serving on the Board for more than 15 years and as its Immediate Past Chairman.
In addition to his remarkable professional accomplishments, he was deeply committed to his community and touched countless lives through his generosity.
David’s spirit of giving will continue to guide our work and inspire others to give as he did.
Abel Holtz
Abel Holtz, the naming benefactor of Holtz Children’s Hospital at Jackson Memorial Medical Center, was a passionate advocate for Jackson Health System for decades.
Alongside his wife, Fana and his entire family, he dedicated his life to ensuring children in need received the highest quality care. His legacy continues through every child whose life is touched at Holtz Children’s Hospital, a lasting testament to his generosity and vision.
