The Golden Angel Society® is Jackson Health Foundation’s premier giving group. Known as Golden Angels, members have a strong sense of commitment to Jackson Health System and a desire to provide resources that help meet the system’s greatest needs.
Golden Angels’ gifts support capital improvements and help ensure that Jackson continues to have state-of-the-art technology and equipment, provides high-quality medical care for children and adults, and discovers new treatment options through groundbreaking research. With the help of the Golden Angel Society®, residents of Miami-Dade County and beyond will continue to have access to the world-class, lifesaving care that Jackson Health System provides.
In gratitude for their generosity, Golden Angel Society® Members’ names are added to the Donor Recognition Wall (right), located in the lobby of Jackson Memorial Hospital.

2024 Golden Angels Gala
We hosted our annual Golden Angels Gala on April 27 at Ice Palace Studios in Miami. The gala honored the Golden Angel Society, the Foundation’s premier giving group, whose members play a vital role in advancing Jackson’s mission through their philanthropic efforts. This year’s gala celebrated the very best of Jackson and the recent success of the health system’s One Day for Jackson. The sold-out event brought more than 750 philanthropists and community leaders together for a spectacular evening of giving.
2024 Golden Angels Recognition Dinner
Our Golden Angels Recognition Dinner took place at the prestigious Joe’s Stone Crab on May 20. The evening paid tribute to the invaluable contributions of our esteemed Golden Angel Society members. We recognized over 150 guests for their dedication and welcomed 40 new Golden Angels, of which more than half are new donors to Jackson. Welcome to our Jackson family!
In Gratitude
The Golden Angel Society® provides its members with honors and special recognition functions held throughout the year. These include special recognition at the annual Golden Angels Gala, permanent recognition on Jackson Health System’ Donor Wall and invitations to exclusive functions, medical lectures and seminars, hospital luncheons, and tours.
In addition, members of the Golden Angel Society® and their immediate family receive concierge services provided in appreciation for their support. These include:
Appointments: The Golden Angel Concierge will facilitate all referrals and appointments with primary care providers and specialists.
Hospital admission: If hospitalization is needed, the Golden Angel Concierge will help streamline the admission process. Information and assistance for family members are available 24/7.
VUMI international patient reception center: Experience a customer-focused, personalized welcome. Upon arrival, members are met by Golden Angel Concierge personnel at the VUMI International Patient Reception Center, operated and staffed by the Jackson Memorial Hospital Hospitality Dept.
24-Hour access to urgent care: In the event of an unexpected medical crisis or illness, please immediately call 911. When time permits, call our Golden Angel Concierge, who will facilitate calls to your healthcare professional and, if necessary, manage the logistics of the admission process to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Health care access for travelers: Should a member of the Golden Angel Society® require medical care while traveling outside the U.S., Jackson’s International Center is available to help. Staff will assist with coordinating medical transportation back to the U.S. and manage the logistics of the admission process to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
