2025 Ice Cream We Love

The Ice Cream We Love event, presented by Bal Harbour Shops, was a delightful two-day celebration benefiting patients at Holtz Children’s Hospital at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. Attendees enjoyed a weekend filled with fun and indulgence, featuring some of the nation’s best ice cream brands.

25th Annual Guardians of the Children^TM Luncheon and Fashion Show

On November 25th, the Guardian Angels hosted their silver anniversary event benefiting Holtz Children’s Hospital surrounded by those who embrace their mission. The luncheon raised $920,000 and featured an exclusive fashion show presented by Saks Fifth Avenue along with a chance drawing, including an exclusive trip to Malaga, Spain.

2024 Golden Angels Recognition Dinner

Our Golden Angels Recognition Dinner took place at the prestigious Joe’s Stone Crab on May 20. The evening paid tribute to the invaluable contributions of our esteemed Golden Angel Society members. We recognized over 150 guests for their dedication and welcomed 40 new Golden Angels, of which more than half are new donors to Jackson. Welcome to our Jackson family!

Alongside the delicious treats, families enjoyed a range of activities, all in support of Holtz Children’s Hospital.

One Day for Jackson 2024

On April 4, 2024, Jackson Health System celebrated the inaugural One Day for Jackson, an outstanding community fundraising event. Thanks to the incredible generosity and dedication of all donors and partners involved, significant funding was raised to support the most advanced treatments, innovative technology, and cutting-edge facilities. This collective effort will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the lives of many in our community. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and supported One Day for Jackson!

2024 Golden Angels Gala

We hosted our annual Golden Angels Gala on April 27 at Ice Palace Studios in Miami. The gala honored the Golden Angel Society, the Foundation’s premier giving group, whose members play a vital role in advancing Jackson’s mission through their philanthropic efforts. This year’s gala celebrated the very best of Jackson and the recent success of the health system’s One Day for Jackson. The sold-out event brought more than 750 philanthropists and community leaders together for a spectacular evening of giving.

Celebrate the Gift of Life Dinner

Lee Brian Schrager, founder of the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival, kicked off the 2024 fesitval by hosting the “Celebrate the Gift of Life” dinner. One hundred percent of all proceeds benefitted the Miami Transplant Institute at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

More than 120 donors were recognized and 40 new Golden Angels were honored and welcomed into the Jackson family – the most new Golden Angels ever.

Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center for The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at UHealth/Jackson Memorial

On Friday, March 25, 2022, Jackson Health Foundation, along with Jackson Health System, UHealth – University of Miami Health System, and The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis hosted a dedication event celebrating the Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center for The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at UHealth/Jackson Memorial. An award was presented to philanthropist Christine E. Lynn for her generous donation to The Miami Project and Jackson Health Foundation, which helped fund the center’s construction.
