A miracle story: Meet Victoria
A liver transplant recipient shares her healing journey with us
University of Miami Health System surgeons at Jackson Memorial Hospital recently performed a lifesaving liver transplant on a little girl about to say goodbye to her father. Eleven-year-old Victoria Rojas, whose father will be deployed overseas shortly, received word that she had a match just seven days after her father returned home from a previous military deployment. After transplant surgery, she is now on the road to recovery.

Donor Highlight: Wells Fargo

Recently, Wells Fargo visited the patients at Holtz Children's Hospital and brought along their iconic stagecoach, Easter baskets and Spring bunnies. A big thanks for creating unforgettable memories for our patients!

Save The Date: Golden Angel Society Recognition Dinner

Join us for our Golden Angel Society Recognition Dinner on Tuesday, May 16. The event will take over Joe's Stone Crab to celebrate the Foundation's new Golden Angels and the year's fundraising successes on behalf of the Jackson Health System. Individual tickets are $200 for non-members and $150 for Golden Angels.

Mark your calendar for the 19th Annual Guardians of the Children Luncheon & Fashion Show taking place on Friday, November 17 at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. This year, we are working with Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland to present a spectacular "Best Fashion of the Season" show.

IKF Wonderfund celebrated Circle of Heroes 10th Anniversary Luncheon

Over 250 community and philanthropic leaders came together recently to celebrate the Circle of Heroes 10th Anniversary Luncheon at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Coral Gables. The event raised more than $175,000 in support of Jackson Health Foundation's IKF Wonderfund.

Meet Gael, an IKF Wonderfund patient who needs your help

Little Gael needs your help! This beautiful baby is one of our IKF Wonderfund kids in need of a second procedure to correct his congenital cardiac defect. Gael is the survivor of twin boys and his family needs your help in raising the $35K for his surgery.

A big 'Thank You' to Sushi Maki - Brickell for hosting our Young Angels event! In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, 20 percent of the proceeds supported the Roxcy Bolton Rape Treatment Center at Jackson Memorial.
