Jackson Health System provides shelter to expectant mothers


The unexpected air pressure drops during hurricanes might have an effect on pregnancy and births, that’s why Jackson Memorial Hospital, Jackson North Medical Center and Jackson South Medical Center opened their doors during Hurricane Irma and provided shelter to a limited amount of expectant mothers who were registered to deliver their babies at a Jackson Health System facility. During the storm preparedness efforts, Local 10 ABC News reported about this, highlighting how  Jackson Health System expediently found ways to ease the impact of this tragedy on our South Florida community and beyond.
