Jackson Health Foundation announces appointment of new Senior Vice President of Development

Jackson Health Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of J. William Kingston as Senior Vice President of Development. Kingston brings over 20 years of experience in development to his new role.

“Kingston’s extensive experience within the fundraising industry coupled with a proven record to drive growth within an organization make him an extraordinary leader for our foundation development team,” said Keith Tribble, President and CEO of Jackson Health Foundation. “Kingston will be an essential asset for our organization as we continue to position Jackson as the Charity of Choice among the South Florida community and beyond.”

Prior to joining Jackson Health Foundation, Kingston held several leadership roles including System Vice President/Chief Development Officer for Ohio Health and Senior Executive Director of Development & Marketing for the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. During his tenure at the University of Miami, Kingston was responsible for a complete restructuring of the development team which resulted in an increase of productivity and charitable giving by 35% in year one. In a prior role, he served as Vice President of Philanthropy of Catholic Health East in Pennsylvania and was responsible for managing the development executives for 19 acute-care hospitals spanning over 11 states.

As Senior Vice President of Development, Kingston will work closely with the President and Chief Executive Officer to lead Jackson’s fundraising program, focused on generating more awareness about the organization in the community and beyond. Jackson Health Foundation is the fundraising arm of Jackson Health System, the most comprehensive healthcare provider in South Florida and home to a world-class transplant program, trauma center and Holtz Children’s Hospital.
