Jackson Patients Enjoy VIP Game Day Experience

On Saturday, November 8, the University of Miami and Jackson Health Foundation (JHF) teamed up with Special Spectators to host a group of seriously ill patients from Holtz Children’s Hospital at the University of Miami vs Virginia college football game at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

This special event marked the first-ever VIP Game Day Experience, a signature charity event put together by volunteers to help young sports fans experience a truly unique game day along with their families. Special Spectators provided the families with a full all-access day of football, including a suite for the game, a behind-the-scenes stadium, field and locker room tour, a VIP meal, and photos with UM cheerleaders, mascot Sebastian and the university band.

Jackson Health Foundation was proud to partner with Special Spectators for this special initiative, which gave some of our Holtz Children’s patients the opportunity to distract from their daily routine of medical exams and procedures and enjoy a great football game along with their families.
